Relationships

Relationships are typed, directed links between work items and entries. They make dependencies, blockers, answers, and supporting evidence visible beyond a single entry.

Types

Type	Meaning
BLOCKED_BY	An item is stopped by another item.
DEPENDS_ON	An item relies on another item.
RELATED_TO	Two records share a topic.
ANSWERS / ACCEPTED_ANSWER	An answer is provided or selected for a question.
SUPPORTS / CONTRADICTS	Records support or conflict with a conclusion.
RESOLVES / SUPERSEDES	A record closes or replaces another record.

from points to to. BLOCKED_BY normally points from the blocked item to the item causing the block. ACCEPTED_ANSWER connects a question to one of its answer entries, and only one is kept per question.

Both endpoints must be in the same project, and a relationship cannot point to itself. Project editors can create, update its reason, and remove it.

Ask AI can propose relationships. Review the endpoints, type, and reason before accepting a proposal.

The inspector makes relationship direction, type, and rationale visible beside the project tree.
