Entries
An entry is a dated record attached to a work item. Use it for updates, decisions, answers, evidence, proposals, and resolutions. Use a work item when the subject needs its own title, status, assignees, or place in the hierarchy.
Types
| Type | Use it for |
|---|---|
COMMENT | General update or discussion. |
INFORMATION | Fact or observation. |
ANSWER | Response to a QUESTION work item. |
EVIDENCE | Supporting fact or finding. |
PROPOSAL | Suggested approach or change. |
RESOLUTION | Outcome that closes or resolves an issue. |
Entries have a type, body, author, and timestamps. They do not have their own title; the parent work item provides the subject.
Accepted answers
A question can have one accepted ANSWER entry. Accepting another answer
replaces the previous one. Windrunner records the choice with an
ACCEPTED_ANSWER relationship and changes the question to ANSWERED.
Editing and AI review
Project editors can edit or delete entries. Deleting an entry also removes its relationships. AI Review can suggest a clearer body or entry type; the saved entry changes only after you accept the suggestion. See Using AI assistance.
